Program Assessment

Our experienced mountaineering, climbing, and whitewater guides have the ability to rig the most technical camera setups that will insure the safety of the crew and their equipment. Global works in the recreational risk management field as a consulting agency and brings this knowledge and experience to the film industry.

We can also provide medical personnel on the site and arrange for emergency evacuations where necessary. To act in support of the Emergency Medical Technicians and Paramedics on the scene, all of our guides have current certification and extensive experience in emergency first aid procedures.

Consulting Services

Global has provided consulting services in many areas of the outdoor and risk recreation industry. Each member of the Global staff brings a lifetime of experience that is necessary and a prerequisite to managing outdoor and wilderness travel and living. Our staff expertise in the risk recreation industry ranges from extreme rock, ice, and snow climbing to whitewater rafting and kayaking, extreme mountaineering, and advanced mountain biking to trekking in a multitude of harsh environments. Let us know if you need a risk management specialist on location during your production or program.

Environmental Protection Supervision

Pressure from environmental groups is causing public land managers to closely monitor film crews. It is our observation that damage to the environment or violations of now common regulations lead to additional restrictions for future crews and additional cost to the careless production. In some instances agencies find it easier to close areas rather than deal with the offender. Environmental protection has become a major factor in location filming.

Violation of regulations or damage to federal property can carry extensive fines and restoration charges. Global has the expertise to guide production companies in the use of the land in a manner that will prevent them from incurring fines and damaging the environment, delays and possible expulsion from your location.
